Hi, my name is Alexis, and I'm the (former) Couch Potato behind From Couch Potato to Fit. I started this blog to share my health and wellness journey.

Get to know me:
What's my poison? When I say, I was a "couch potato", I wasn't joking. For as long as I can remember, I hated being active. Until I started my journey in 2019, I had found a way to avoid physical activity since I was in 5th grade. Yep, you read that right: I had not even taken physical education since the 5th grade. Today, I stay fit through the Lagree method and Peloton.

When did my journey start? I started becoming fit in July 2019. In three months, I was able to lose 17.4+ pounds through consistency. Any day is a good day to become the best version of you that you can be... Whether it's mentally or physically, know this: It doesn't have to be January 1st to conquer new goals and make resolutions for yourself.

Why did I become fit? For a variety of reasons, but most importantly I became fit for myself.
