Welcome to From Couch Potato to Fit!
My name is Alexis, and I'm the (former) Couch Potato behind From Couch Potato to Fit. I'm starting this blog to share my health and wellness journey. Here's a little bit about me:
What's my poison? When I say, I was a "couch potato", I wasn't joking. For as long as I can remember, I hated being active. Until I started my journey in 2019, I had found a way to avoid physical activity since I was in 5th grade. Yep, you read that right: I had not even taken physical education since the 5th grade. Today, I stay fit through the Lagree method and Peloton.
When did my journey start? I started becoming fit in July 2019. In three months, I was able to lose 17.4+ pounds through consistency. Any day is a good day to become the best version of you that you can be... Whether it's mentally or physically, know this: It doesn't have to be January 1st to make and conquer new goals and make resolutions for yourself.
Why did I become fit? For a variety of reasons, but most importantly I became fit for myself.
Is this blog just about fitness? Nope! I'm here to share content about fashion, food, and more! Want to hear about certain topics? Drop me a line and I'll write about it!
